HOMER HIT AND RUN SERIES
In a series of interviews in 1990, Groening reportedly stated that he named the character after the Homer Simpson in The Day Of the Locust, a 1939 novel by Nathanael West, according to Planet Simpson, but neither explanation is considered definitive. Homer is named after Matt Groening's late father, Homer Groening. He has won a Grammy, an Academy Award, a Pulitzer Prize, been to space, and has saved Springfield many times. Homer may just be a normal man, but he has had many great achievements and experiences in his life.
As a result of this, Homer is the legal adoptive father of Ling Bouvier. Even though he hates Patty and Selma, he played as Selma’s husband in order for her to adopt Ling. When Homer gets provoked, he strangles Bart for pressuring him. Homer is also the only son of Abe and Mona.
HOMER HIT AND RUN TV
At his home, he can often be found sitting on the couch mindlessly watching TV while snacking on food and drinking Duff. He spends a great deal of his time at Moe's Tavern with his lifelong friends Barney, Carl, Lenny, and the bartender Moe. Homer works as a low-level safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant in Sector 7G, although he is often incompetent and negligent towards his duty. He serves as the main protagonist of both the TV series and the 2007 film adaptation. Although Homer has many flaws, he has shown to have great caring, love, and even bravery to those he cares about and, sometimes, even others he doesn't. Homer is overweight (said to be ~240 lbs), lazy, and often ignorant to the world around him. He is the spouse of Marge Simpson and father of Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, and Maggie Simpson. Homer Jay Simpson (born May 12, 1956) is the main protagonist of the series. Public demand definitely warrants a sequel and I'm astonished one hasn't been made yet, or alternatively a remastering of the original game. Another no-brainer is to have improved graphics, more places to explore, more collectables, more fun missions, more cars, and for it to be released on newer generation consoles such as the PS4, Nintendo Switch and the Xbox One. Also, more transportation would be useful, more accessible rooms in houses, and for the map to be more accurate. In the first game, there were only 7 levels, so therefore it's a no-brainer to include more levels, and levels should be open-ended, i.e having the whole of Springfield connecting together instead of it being in sections. I also believe that there should be different forms of attacks than kicking, such as punching etc, but still retaining a 7+ or 12+ rating, hence a comical interpretation would be suitable. Hibbert, Chief Wiggum, Krusty, Moe, and Barney, alongside The Simpsons and Apu. There should be more playable characters, those featured in the series such as Flanders, Grandpa, Principal Skinner, Willy, Otto, Dr. However, a sequel to this particular game has not yet been released, only the Simpsons game which did not match to the level of this game. It sold over 3 million copies by 2007, had a very accurate interpretation of the series itself (along with the 3D graphics compared to the 2D which we see on the show), and lots of people considered it to be the best Simpsons game to date.
The Simpsons Hit and Run, released in 2003, was a huge success at the time.
